Though Family development participants are offered a variety of life skills classes some of which include: Budgeting, Energy Savers, Good Neighbor, Home Ownership, Building Strong Families, Healthy Life Styles etc., these classes are in three hour sessions and are free of charge.
Pre-employment includes Workforce of the Future curriculum and a 4 – 6 week classroom time. This program is open to anyone and is free of charge. NECAC works in partnership with Missouri Career Centers and are SHARE Access Points for Great Hires.
Case Management is offered through Family Self-Sufficiency. This program offers individual case management with goal setting and personal visits. Missouri Building Assets also provides case management and an opportunity for each participant to open and save money on a monthly basis to work toward homeownership, business ownership or secondary schooling.
