ffordable housing is the goal of NECAC’s housing rent assistance program. The elderly, disabled and low income individuals and families are eligible for this program. The amount of rental assistance is based upon the tenant’s income. The program uses existing rental housing that is in decent, safe and sanitary condition and passes HUD inspection. The Family Self Sufficiency Program is designed to help families live without assistance. The Housing Choice Voucher program provides families the opportunity to purchase their own home.
