In-Home Services

Program Overview

NECAC In-Home can provide you with the necessary care services to help you maintain your independence and provide quality care. These services are intended to assist in the activities of daily living which help older adults stay safe, healthy, and independent in their homes.

Staff is fully bonded, insured, and go through a rigorous interview, training, and screening process prior to employment. Staff are supervised and evaluated by State Certified Supervisors on a regular basis.

NECAC In-Home Services accept VA, Veterans Home Care, LLC, Medicaid, Area Agencies on Aging, Private Insurance, Private Pay and other forms of coverage.

What does In-Home do?

  • Personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming;

  • Housekeeping, meal preparation, and shopping;

  • Nursing services such as medication set-ups, blood draws, or diabetic nail care;

  • Respite services to relieve a family member or caregiver;

  • Private Duty Care

  • And more

Who is eligible?

Individuals age 60 or over may qualify if they have Medicaid, but do not meet the nursing home level of care. In-home care services can help people who are:

  • Aging and needing assistance to live independently

  • Managing chronic health issues

  • Recovering from a medical setback

  • Someone who has special needs or a disability

Personal Care

Personal home care typically provides a variety of non-medical services, including:

  • Assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming)

  • Basic housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, etc.)

  • Preparing and/or delivering meals

  • Companionship (reading aloud, playing games, chatting, etc.)

  • Assistance with ambulation, transfer, and fall prevention

  • Medication reminders

  • Therapy and/or rehabilitative services

Homemaker Chore

Homemaker Chore services provide you with the support you need to maintain your home. Your caregiver is there to take the stress of housekeeping off your plate so you can focus on your health..

  • Housekeeping

  • Laundry

  • Trash Collection / Disposal

  • Meal Planning / Preparation

  • Grocery Shopping

  • Running Errands

  • Tidying Up

Respite Care

Respite care services will relieve family caregivers of their duties to allow them to tend to personal matters. Our services include the following:

  • Support After Hospitalization

  • Adjusting to a New Diagnosis

  • Challenging Medical Conditions

  • Travel or Scheduling Conflicts

  • Time to Rest, Recharge and Refresh

  • Extra SupportTherapy and/or rehabilitative services
